The opening ceremony for the second cohort of Chinese DBA students was held in
Beijing on November 13, 2009.
Students of this cohort
include executives from various industries in Asia.
They meet in this new family to study together and
exchange ideas. Dr. J. Davidson Frame, UMT’s Academic
Dean, from UMT welcomed the incoming class. He wished
them the best in their studies and further endeavors.

A group of 19 University
of Management and Technology DBA students visited Taiwan
for the first time on a cultural and learning expedition.
The group arrived in Taiwan on September 12, 2009 and
spent the first couple of days of the trip attending
lectures in National Taiwan University, National Chin-Yi
University of Technology and Nan Hua University, learning
about humanities, life sciences, and science and technologies.

Dr. J. Davidson Frame, UMT’s
Academic Dean, traveled to Beijing to attend an opening
ceremony for a cohort of Chinese students who began their
DBA study at the UMT. Dr. Frame welcomed the incoming
class. He wished students the best in obtaining the knowledge
through UMT DBA program and to become global leaders
in their fields.

UMT Academic Dean Captivates
Audiences at the PMI International Project Management
Forum in Taiwan
Dr. J. Davidson Frame, UMT Academic Dean, PMI Fellow and globally renowned guru
in project management, served as the keynote speaker
at the PMI International Project Management Forum
2007 in Taiwan. Over 400 people attended the forum,
which was held from Nov 2 to Nov 4.
Dr. Frame delivered a presentation titled “Agile Project Management:
Re-thinking PMBOK, CMM, ISO 9000 and Other Standards” at the opening
ceremony.
